There are timber kitchens on the market but few, if any that truly reflect the style of this Oak kitchen from TEAM7 in Austria. As the design process rolled out it became apparent that this client would have more influence on the end result than most. She chose her own slabs of marble which contrast perfectly with the oak. At eye-level we used anthracite-coloured glass (on the tall cabinets and overhead cabinets) to avoid the timber dominating the room.
The Kitchen revolves around a dramatic 100mm thick marble island top and a beautiful solid oak plinth and perfectly complimented by our TEAM7 bar stools. The client selected a dramatic full-height marble splashback to beautifully offset the Barraza gas range cooktop and we supplied a contoured Miele extractor which made this wall a living sculpture.
Adjacent the Oak kitchen is an elegant dining area under a stunning glazed roof which allows light to flood the space. We provided a stunning solid oak TEAM7 extending dining table with TEAM7 chairs and bench seat. The furniture legs are finished in Palladium (Gloss Black Nickel) to compliment the sliding mirrored doors on the sideboard.
Leading off of the Team7 kitchen is a butler’s pantry and laundry designed by our team and fabricated in our Melbourne facility, creating a sleek white utility area with a hint of luxury by the continuation of marble worktops and the world-leading V-Zug Washing Machine and Dryer.
